Promoting the excellence of British books

The British Book Awards are now open for entry. These awards showcase the superb quality of the British book design and production industry - and can do wonders for your company's reputation!

The Awards, brought to you by BPIF, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, are the premier recognition event for British book design and production.

Both entries and attendance were at record levels in 2009: and we are determined to break both records in 2010 as the awards move on to new levels.

The judges will be looking for good design, free of typographical errors. Particular emphasis will be given to excellent layout and standards of typography.

All books published from 1 July 2009 until 30 June 2010 are eligible for entry in this year's awards. The deadline for entries is Friday 9 July 2010. Click here to enter the awards.

The Awards will be presented at a glittering event on Tuesday 5 October 2010 at the prestigious Lancaster London Hotel. It will be the event of the year for all those involved in the industry, bringing printers, designers and their clients together to celebrate the best of British book design and production work.
